Our Community Heros
Greenbank Services Club and staff have always been such an incredible support of Kingstones Music and have assisted us in bringing some our visions to life. Alongside our monthly Performances; Greenbank have supported us with offering up space to run our “You’re The Voice” Program and our “Slay Your Way” Finale.
We are blessed to be a recipient of their “Together We Rise Community Fund’ which helped fund Supportive Aides and Equipment to enhance the service we can provide.
We are lucky enough to have Greenbank Services Club a small walk away from our HQ and we are extremely grateful and humbled by the support we receive from this Community driven establishment.
The ADRA Community Care Centre in Logan Central, south of Brisbane, provides emergency relief and assistance to anyone in need, including people suffering the effects of domestic violence.There is an ADRA Op Shop on site and the centre also offers training in Certificate I Conservation and Land Management (CALM) and Certificate I Hospitality. As a certified ‘Work for the Dole’ provider, the centre also provides opportunities for people to get back into employment.
The team at ADRA Logan Central have always opened their doors and hearts for our Kingstones Members. Our members regularly attend ADRA to participate in work experience. ADRA offers us the opportunity to be apart of a passionate team who gives back to the community. Our team enjoy being apart of the ADRA team and to be given opportunities to learn new skills and to give back to our community.
Formally Ever After is a Community program designed to help students who are struggling to attend their formals. They work through members of the community gifting their used formal wear for students in need . They are a safe inclusive place for any student from any school or suburb who needs a helping hand up.
Tammy and her Team at Formally Ever after have always been in our corner to support us through our programs. Tammy and her team dressed our “Slay your way” class of 2022 and is always offering her support and services to help our team shine like the diamonds they are. We are so blessed to be able to work along side such caring and community focused superstars.
The Kingstones Crew have the pleasure of being able to participate in work experience at Lighthouse Care in Loganholme.
Lighthouse Care is a non-profit charity that provides free and discounted food to families struggling to make ends meet through low cost grocery stores and home delivery. But more than that they are group of people who passionately want to help bring hope to people.
We at Kingstones are honoured that we have been able to make this connection and be apart of such a selfless organisation and to assist where needed to bring hope to our community.
